Research for this project consisted of searching for media I enjoy and what I thought was relevant to my project. Below is a YouTube link to Jim Morrison's Album, An American Prayer, which inspired me to create something in a similar field. Reflecting on the songs, I experimented with spoken word in my project and adopted anecdotal storytelling.

Another source of inspiration was contemporary artist Catherine Sullivan's installation, The Chittendens, a striking project of Sullivan's that encapsulates a theatrical presentation with avant-garde visuals and, more so, uncanny dialogue. Layers of cinema are projected on top of one another, giving the project an ephemeral aesthetic that I wanted to aim towards in my own project.
